Pretreatment of tissue samples
Sample TypePretreatment
TissueTreated with preservative agent RNAlater
In case sample is stored at less than -45℃, please sent it in frozen state untreated with RNAlater.
Blood/Bone MarrowAfter hemolysis treatment with hemolysis buffer, please send the sample after cleansing with PBS and treatment of pellet by preservative agent, RNAlater.
Cultured CellPlease send the sample after cleansing with PBS and treatment of pellet by preservative agent, RNAlater.
* Please use preservative agent of RNAlater(TaKaRa Cat.No.AB001).
Please see the attached manual for details of treatment.

Storage temperature and storage period of samples for possible analysis.
Sample TypeStorage TemperatureStorage Period
Tissue, Bone Marrow/Blood, Cultured CellsIf treated with RNAlater-20℃storage period should be within 6 months
If untreated with RNAlaterunder -45℃strage period should be within 6 months
Paraffin Segment4℃(it's also OK in room temperature)-
TotalRNA, mRNAunder -45℃strage period should be wintin 6 months
cDNA-20℃strage period should be wintin 6 months
Precautions
If samples received is not in good condition, please be reminded that we might ask you to send it again.
